Formal Dining; it is something we all hear about, but something we rarely do. When most people think about formal dining, their minds go to a meal that takes several hours to get through; food that is difficult to pronounce; a multitude of drinking glasses; and the wide variety of knives, forks, and spoons. But the truth is, once you get past the initial intimidation of a formal dinner, you quickly learn that they are actually quite fun! In our fast paced world, it is a rare opportunity to sit down for a formal meal and get wrapped up in a dining experience. Indulging yourself with multiple entrees opens up your eye to new things and taste buds to unique flavors.
Formal dinners are one of our favorite types of events to host at The Faculty Club. Each dinner is so unique from the next, allowing our Executive Chef, Josh Harris, the opportunity to work with our clients and create custom menus that reflect the theme of each dinner. The appearance of a dish also plays a large role in each entree that is served. Our kitchen staff works diligently to not only prepare food that tastes delicious, but also looks beautiful.
The traditional decor and character of our facility creates the perfect atmosphere for a fine dining experience. Specialty linen and floral centerpieces help develop the theme of the evening and enhance the overall experience for guests. Creativity is in full bloom from the beautiful surroundings to the artfully crafted cuisine.
The Club hosts a variety of formal dining events for both our special member events and our catered events. With the new year approaching very quickly, we are starting to get our 2015 Club Calendar together. Be sure to check it out and see what delicious dinners and fun events we are planning for our members! If you have a catered event you are looking to plan, please feel free to view our full catering menu here and contact our Catering Office for more information!
