As this winter welcomes February with open arms and beautiful weather, love is in the air. Whether you agree with Pat Benatar and think “Love is a Battlefield,” or you’re lucky enough to be living Diana Ross’s “Endless Love,” Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching. For some, it’s kind of sneaking up quickly, but don’t worry! Here at The Club, we have plenty of options for taking your sweetie out for a special time.
On Friday February 12th, we’re hosting our first ever Second Friday Dinner with a “Taste of Winter” theme. Join us for a night of delicious seasonally inspired dishes and winter decor. The temperature may be cold, but this is the perfect opportunity for you to come in and warm up with a three course treat.
If Saturday night is when you’re looking to celebrate your sweetheart, join us for our Valentine’s Dinner on February 13th. Chef Harris is serving a three course meal with options such as Shrimp and Crab Bisque, Apple and Pomegranate Salad, Char-Grilled Beef Tenderloin, Seared Diver Scallops, and much more, all finished with a Chocolate Bundt Cake covered with Drunken Berries and Royal Icing. If that menu isn’t enticing enough to bring you in, what is?
For those traditionalists looking to celebrate on the actual holiday, or those looking for something a little more light-hearted, we’ll be serving up a Valentine’s Day Brunch on Sunday February 14th. To make it extra special, you can turn it into a Champagne Brunch to enjoy endless glasses of Champagne with your loved one. Plus, if you’ve joined us for dinner either of the two nights before, you’ll receive 10% off brunch!
If you’re looking for fun ideas after you’ve had an amazing dinner or brunch here, we have a few that might be of interest to you!
Go ice skating. If you own skates, gliding around at a public rink is often free. Bring a thermos of hot chocolate and marshmallows plus a sweet treat to share. Or plan to stop by a diner afterward to grab dessert and warm up!
If you live here in Columbus with us, The Franklin Park Conservatory is having a special event to showcase their Orchid Exhibit. Orchids stand for love and affection. It has the ability to grow anywhere and has the resistance power to bloom under any condition, making it a symbol of love. For more information, visit their site here!
So let The Club do the work for Valentine’s Day so you can spend more time focusing on those you love. Join us for a dinner or brunch to celebrate the special day with your favorite person! Happy Valentine’s Day!!
